About Me

Bridget Fowler PT, DPT, NCS received her doctor of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL in 2011. She completed her Neurologic PT Residency program through Casa Colina/Rancho-USC in Pomona, CA and joined the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) in 2012. She obtained her Neurologic Certified Specialist in 2013. Dr. Fowler has experience in all settings of neurologic, medically complex and oncology physical therapy practice, including outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation and day rehabilitation. She is an acting Nominating Committee member for the Illinois Physical Therapy Association (IPTA) Eastern District and has served as an IPTA Assembly Representative since 2014. Additionally, she will represent the Eastern District at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) House of Delegates for 2019-2020. Dr. Fowler is passionate about PT practice, knowledge translation research and being involved in the physical therapy professional organizations and advocacy.
