Military Sports Camp







The Military Sports Camp invites introductory-level veteran athletes are to learn from elite level coaches while enjoying all that Chicago has to offer.  All local ground transportation, lodging, meals, and program activities will be provided to military personnel at no cost.  All individuals who have or are currently serving in the US Armed Forces and now have a primary physical disability are welcome to apply. 2018 camp participants represented every military branch and came from 15 states.

Application Process


Veterans from across the country, regardless of their physical disability, are encouraged to apply for our Military Sports Camps. 

  • Veterans interested in applying for the Military Sports Camp are asked to complete an online application.
  • Fifty (50) qualifying applicants will be accepted for participation in camp.
  • Individuals will be notified of their acceptance status by program staff.
  • Applications for 2019 camp TBA. 

Covered costs include a flight to/from Chicago (thanks to the support of United Airlines) or a travel reimbursement if traveling by train, bus or other means of transit; hotel; food; local transportation; sports equipment & instruction; select Chicago tourism activities and more.

Please note that if you require a caregiver, you should note that in on the application. If accepted to camp, your caregiver is part of that acceptance and will be covered the same as you (they will also get a flight, hotel, food, transportation, etc.). Applicants must provide their own caregiver.
