Exercise is a very important part of a cancer treatment and many studies have shown that physical activity is linked with decreased risk of some cancers. Join Shirley Ryan AbilityLab physical therapist, Jan Struhar, for an educational session to learn more about:

  • How physical activity is linked to reduced risks of cancer
  • How being sedentary is linked to health risks and cancer
  • Why is physical activity beneficial for cancer survivors?
  • Newest research on the relationship between physical activity and cancer
