RIC’s Caring for Kids program provides adaptive sport and recreation programs for children with physical impairments or conditions. The programs are designed to foster a positive quality of life for participants by promoting physical fitness, independence, socialization, activity and adaptive resources.

Caring for Kids provides many year-round programs, weekend programs and camps, all following the Chicago Public School schedule. It is funded by Polk Bros Foundation, Blackhawk Charities, Edmund and Alice Opler Foundation, and Cubs Care.
