Dr. Randy Calisoff has been an Attending Physician at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab's Center for Pain Management since 2011. His primary clinical work is with patients suffering from a wide variety of chronic pain conditions, including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Myofascial Pain, Neuropathic Pain, Lumbar and Cervical Degenerative Disc Disease, and Chronic Back Pain conditions. He currently serves as a member on the American Pain Society's Quality Task Force and also has been involved in the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Teaching Curriculum for 1st and 2nd year medical students from 2011 to 2015. He has published papers, abstracts and book chapters focusing on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Principles of Rehabilitation Medicine in Chronic Pain Conditions. He has also given talks to various groups across the community, including Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group. His research currently is involved with prospective and retrospective review in patients with Fibromyalgia who have undergone an interdisciplinary pain management program at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab's Center for Pain Management. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
