Dr. Blatz's approach to patient care integrates a thorough history, clinical examination, and the patients' personal goals to return his patients to the best of their functional ability. The goal of his practice is to keep people as physically active as they can be since exercise and physical activity are essential to optimizing the health of all individuals. He enjoys working with professional and elite level athletes, both able-bodied and disabled, as well as weekend warriors. Dr. Blatz regularly utilizes musculoskeletal ultrasound in the assessment of many conditions. His approach involves minimally invasive treatment options to restore the patient/athlete to optimal activity level. He is also trained in regenerative medicine techniques including the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP) to optimize healing, as well as utilizing lumbar spine injections, peripheral joint injections, and soft tissue injections of the musculoskeletal system.
