Walking training using an exoskeleton following a stroke: Samsung: Robotic Hip Assist-based Mobility Intervention

This study takes place at multiple Shirley Ryan AbilityLab locations across Chicago. The purpose of this study is to determine if the Samsung robotic hip based mobility device is a safe and effective intervention for gait function.

The study will require 7 assessment sessions and 18 training sessions. These sessions will last 1-2 hours.

Who Can Participate

  • Had a stroke > 30 days ago
  • Able to walk with the assistance of 1 person
  • Medical clearance from physician

Age Range

Age 18-85
