Objective

To evaluate whether transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) can improve speech and language therapy outcomes and determine the optimal time to deliver tDCS. The study will determine if it is better to receive tDCS before, during, or after the speech and language therapy session.

Who Can Participate

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Diagnosis of aphasia from a stroke
  • At least 6 months since stroke onset
  • English speaking before the stroke
