Safety and Efficacy of Samsung GEMS-H Device Training in Sub-Acute and Chronic Stroke

Objective

A clinical training study using a hip exoskeleton from Samsung for individuals post stroke. Individuals receive 18 training sessions using the device in the outpatient setting and outcomes are taken pre, mid and post training.

To determine effect of gait training using the GEMS-H, which provides assistance at the hip joint during walking, in individuals with post sub-acute and chronic stroke.

Who Can Participate

Ages 18-85, people who have had sub-acute to chronic stroke, or a single stroke.

Compensation

Compensation provided upon acceptance.
