Objective

To measure the electrical activity of single muscle fibers and to determine how this electrical activity changes after botulinum toxin injections 

Who Can Participate

  • Subjects who have a medical diagnosis of first time stroke,
  • stroke onset > 6 months,
  • qualify for botulinum toxin injection in upper arm muscles as part of standard of care,
  • 4 months post previous botulinum toxin injection and
  • can sit for 4 hours at a time. 

Compensation

Provided: $40 per visit
