Description: This 90-minute on-demand webinar describes the most recent definitions and staging classification system of pressure injuries per the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (April 2016).  Key principles and interventions for the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries are discussed as well as current Medicare mandates related to pressure injury management.  Other commonly seen wounds are reviewed to better enable the clinician to correctly identify a pressure ulcer.
