Body

This study is complete and is no longer recruiting subjects.

This study aims to identify genetic factors/susceptibilities associated with the course of treatment induced behavioral outcomes, motor arm recovery, quantify stress and activities of daily living during the recovery phase after stroke. For this study, the Max Näder Center is working in close collaboration with researchers at the University of California, Irvine, who are leading the investigation.

Patient population: Stroke that is ischemic in etiology or intracerebral hemorrhage, onset 1-10 days prior, and radiologically confirmed on either CT or MRI, ages: 18 years or older.
